The ladder contains 16 double-stranded DNA bands that are designed for sizing and approximate quantification of wide-range molecular weight standards on agarose gels. The product is ready-to-use and premixed with 1×Loading Buffer for direct loading 3-6 μl on gel electrophoresis. The ladder is composed of 16 purified individual DNA fragments (shown in right figure). DNA quantities of each band per 5ul loading are as follow: 50 bp (35.5 ng), 100 bp (30 ng), 150 bp (13.5 ng), 200 bp (22.5 ng), 250 bp (22.5 ng), 300 bp (13.5 ng), 350 bp (31.5 ng), 400 bp (15 ng), 500 bp (46 ng) , 600 bp (27 ng) , 700 bp (31.5 ng) , 800 bp (30 ng) , 900 bp (33.5 ng) , 1000 bp (33 ng) , 1500 bp (50 ng) and 3000 bp (64 ng).
